Permaculture design, conjured from your land
Drop a pin. Grow a plan.
Permaculture Wizard reads your land — climate, frost, sun, slope and water — and drafts a permaculture design for it. A real permaculture designer can take it from there.

Observe first, then design
The first rule of permaculture is to watch your land for a year.
We can't replace that year — but ten years of weather data, the terrain and the sun can give you a head start on it, today. 🌀

How it works
- 01
Drop a pin
Search your village, tap the satellite map, or stand on your land and press “I'm on my land”.
- 02
Outline your land
Tap its corners — roughly is fine. We measure the area and the slope between them.
- 03
Tell the wizard your dream
Food, animals, water, how much time and money you have, what you love and what you can't stand. One question per screen.
- 04
Get your design draft
Zones, sectors, water, plant guilds and a three-year plan for your spot — and a real designer to refine it, if you like.

What does your land say?
Find your land, drop the pin, outline it if you like — and get your climate, frost dates, hardiness zone, sun and slope in a few seconds.
Everything a designer looks at first.
Some of it you get right now in the free check. The rest comes with your design draft.

The design draft
A real plan for your real land.
Not a generic “permaculture 101”. Every line comes back to your spot: your frost dates, your slope, your rain, your dreams.
- Zones & sectorsZone 0–5 around your home; sun, wind, water, fire and views drawn on your map.
- Water planSwales on contour, ponds and tanks sized for your rain.
- Plant guildsFruit trees and their helpers rated for your hardiness zone — the right ones, not the pretty ones.
- Food-forest layersCanopy to roots, spaced to grow for fifty years.
- Animals & systemsChickens, bees, compost — placed where they work for you.
- A three-year planWhat to do first, this season — and what can wait. With a plant list to order.
A sketch of the idea — yours is drawn for your land.
AI does the groundwork · people do the craft
Real permaculture designers, not just a robot.
The wizard does the boring 80%: data, maps, plant lists. When you want judgement, a site visit or someone to dig the first swale with you, a vetted permaculture designer picks up your draft — already knowing your land.
- Matched to your region and goalsDesigners near you — or online, since a lot of design works on a video call with good maps.
- Fixed-price packagesGarden from € 390, homestead from € 890, farm from € 1,900 — each designer names their price up front; you pay only once you've chosen.
- Vetted, not just certifiedA PDC is a start. We look at real projects, references and how they work with clients.

Questions?
Is it really free?
Yes. The site check needs no account at all. A free account (just your email, no password) saves your land, soil and wishes and gives you the reality check. You only pay when you book a designer — and only after you've seen their price and chosen them.
How does booking a designer work?
Press “Request a designer” on your land. We offer it to up to three vetted designers who fit your place and wishes; each answers within two days with a fixed price inside your package (Garden € 390–790, Homestead € 890–1,900, Farm € 1,900–4,900). You compare their profiles and choose one.
How accurate is it?
It's a good first read, not a survey. Weather comes from ten years of a global weather archive on a 9–25 km grid, so hollows and frost pockets can be colder and hilltops windier than shown; the slope comes from a ~90 m terrain model. That's why the design draft adds your own observations, a soil test and — if you want — a designer's eye.
Where does it work?
The site check works anywhere on earth. The design drafts start in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, where the terrain and soil data is excellent, and grow from there.
Is this real permaculture or just AI?
Both, on purpose. The wizard uses the same principles a designer would — observe, zones and sectors, water first, stacking functions — and fills in the data work. Real permaculture designers refine drafts, visit land and help build.
Who are the designers?
Practising permaculture designers — most hold a Permaculture Design Certificate. Every applicant reviews entries of our plant and design library so we see how they think, and we check their projects and references. Designers can apply at permawiz.com/designers/apply/.
What happens to my data?
The site check runs in your browser and we keep nothing from it. With an account we store your land, soil and wishes so you can come back to them. Designers see only a summary without your name or exact location; only the designer you choose sees your full project, once the booking is confirmed. You can have everything deleted any time.
